Accredited First Aid (Paediatric)

Ofqual Regulated Paediatric First Aid Qualifications

The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require all employers to make arrangements to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. This includes carrying out a risk assessment, appointing a suitable amount of first aiders and providing appropriate first aid training.

Diamond RCS is a registered course centre approved by Qualsafe Awards, an Awarding Organisation recognised by Ofqual to offer regulated qualifications.

All accredited first aid courses are taught by registered nurses, doctors or paramedics with experience in Paediatrics. All hold instructor status for European Paediatric Advanced Life Support (EPALS) and/or Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) courses. This allows us to deliver a high quality course, bringing years of real-life emergency care experience to the classroom.

Both Level 2 and Level 3 Awards will allow learners to develop skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations, including: managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, choking, shock, wounds and bleeding and minor injuries.
